Sri Lankan court orders prison officials to ensure safety of former army commander

A Sri Lankan court today ordered the Commissioner of Prisons to take measures to ensure the safety of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) leader and former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka who is serving a jail term at the main Colombo Welikada prison.
