Sri Lanka court summons Defence Secretary to testify on 'White Flag' case
A Sri Lankan court today ordered the country's Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to appear before the court to testify on the controversial 'white flag' case against former Army Commander and Democratic National Alliance (DNA) leader Sarath Fonseka.

Town planners have a major role
Town planners have a major role to play in making Sri Lanka the Wonder of Asia, Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa said. “Town planning should be realistic. Co-ordination and dialogues are required to implement town planning. Low-income groups should be relocated,” the Defence Secretary said at the World Town Planning Day held at the BMICH, Colombo yesterday.
