Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary off to India to discuss IDP resettlement

Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has left for India on an official visit.
Director General of the Media Center for National Security (MCNS) Lakshman Hulugalle told the local media today that the Defence Secretary had left for India Wednesday.
During his visit Rajapaksa is scheduled to hold discussions regarding the resettlement of IDPs in the North and is to meet Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao.
Meanwhile, Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa is in India on a two-day official visit. He met India's Tourism and Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Kumari Selja yesterday in New Delhi and is expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior Indian government officials.
