Sri Lanka Marxist party to hold 300 seminars on 'a new way to the motherland'

Sri Lanka's major Marxist party Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) has launched a series of seminars island wide aiming to educate public about the political situation of the country.


The JVP has organized 300 seminar country wide under the theme 'A new way to the motherland'.
The first seminar of the series is to be held tomorrow at the Viharamahadevi Open Theater at 4:00 p.m. JVP general secretary Tilvin Silva will deliver the keynote address.
The JVP has planned to focus on the budget, the economic problems, the democracy issues, loss of GSP Plus, the interferences of the UN, health and education problems etc. at these seminars.
