Sri Lanka will provide legal experts to enhance the Fiji Island's legal sector, President Mahinda Rajapaksa told the visiting Chief Justice of the Republic of Fiji, Lord Anthony Harold Cumberland Gates when he met the President at the Temple Trees this morning.
During the discussion the President has pointed out that many Sri Lankan legal experts are already engaged in state and private legal activities in the Fiji Island and pledged support to provide the services of the Sri Lankan legal experts more efficiently to streamline legal activities in the Fiji Islands
External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris, Secretary of External Affairs Ministry Romesh Jayasinghe, Secretary of Justice Ministry Suhada Gamlath, President of the Chairman of Court of Appeal Sathya Hettige were also present.
