Opposition party organizer's house shot at in southern Sri Lanka

The house of an organizer of Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) in the South was shot at during the early hours of Friday.

Ranil Wickremasinghe, the beleaguered leader of Sri Lanka's opposition United National Party (UNP), has initiated an inquiry to find out how a recording of the party's parliamentary group meeting held yesterday was leaked to the media.
