Sri Lanka's former Army Commander and Democratic National Alliance (DNA) parliamentarian General (Retired) Sarath Fonseka, who is currently under military detention, has said that he did not accept the ruling of the first court martial against him.

Sri Lanka's Democratic National Alliance (DNA) parliamentarian General (Retired) Sarath Fonseka today (20) raised a privileges issue in parliament alleging that the Army Commander had refused permission for him to attend two consultative committee meetings in parliament on Friday (16).

The Court of Appeal of Sri Lanka today rejected the writ application submitted by the former Army Commander General (Retd) Sarath Fonseka requesting the suspension of his court martial.
