Thousands of resettled Tamils marched across the North Saturday morning in Visuamadu, Oddusudan, Vallipuram, Kilinochchi, and Mullaitivu to show support to the government.
The protesting crowd shouted slogans and held placards that asked the overseas LTTE sympathizers not to kill their freedom and showed support to the government's rehabilitation programs.
The protests said the LTTE destroyed their lives for decades making them helpless and they did not receive any relief from those protesting abroad. They thanked the President for freeing them from the LTTE and expressed support to the government's development programs.
