National Media Symposium to be held by Kelaniya University in November

Sri Lanka's University of Kelaniya has organized a National Media Symposium to be held on November 09 and 10 at the auditorium of Faculty of Social Sciences.

All Sri Lankan universities engaged in media studies will take part in the conference.
The conference will discuss the path of media study, future challenges of media and communication study sector, and the problems faced by the Sri Lanka media.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Media W.B. Ganegala, the Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Sunil Jayantha Navarathna, Vice Chancellor of Kelaniya University Prof. Sarath Amunugama, Dean of the faculty of social sciences Prof. Chandrasiri Rajapaksa, Head of the Mass Communication Study division Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa will deliver talks at this symposium.
