Sri Lanka Cricket to slash benefits given to Lasith Malinga

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) sources say that the authorities of SLC have decided to cut the benefits granted to fast bowler Lasith Malinga. SLC administrators share Rs.15 million without any approval

Nearly Rs.15 million was given as bonus to employees of Sri Lanka Cricket without any approval from the majority in the Interim Committee says the acting president of Sri Lanka Cricket Ishan de Silva. Sri Lanka bat first in the second Test


Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat in the second Test match against India today at the SSC grounds in Colombo.
Sri Lanka Cricket said that the selectors have made four changes to the team which won the 1st Test in Galle. Lasith Malinga, Muttiah Muralitharan, Rangana Herath and Chanaka Welagedara have been replaced by Dilhara Fernando, Ajantha Mendis, Suraj Randiv and Dammika Prasad.
