Sri Lanka's Northern Muslims are yet to be resettled, Minister says

Sri Lankan Minister of Industries and Commerce and All Ceylon Muslim Congress (ACMC) Leader, Rishad Bathiudeen says the government has not yet taken necessary measures to resettle the large number of displaced Muslim families.

Sri Lanka to resume renegotiations of CEPA with Indian Government

Acting on a proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rishad Bathiudeen, the Sri Lankan Cabinet has approved setting up of an Inter-Agency Committee to prepare a new draft framework to restart negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between India and Sri Lanka.
