Sri Lanka police say that an investigation is underway over an incident of throwing stones at the Sammanthurai court yesterday by Muslim protesters.
The court in the Ampara district of Muslim-dominated Eastern Province came under attack yesterday morning as a group of Muslim agitators protested against the anti-Islam film. The police say school children were mobilized in the agitation by the organizers and police have identified them. Several thousands of Muslims rallied in Sammanthurai and Saindamarudu towns yesterday afternoon and held protest demonstrations for around two hours.
