Sri Lankan Minister charges a Scandinavian country of attempting to distort school curriculum

The leader of government coalition party National Freedom Front and Minister of Housing and Construction Wimal Weerawansa said that a Scandinavian government attempted to change the curriculum of schools in the country by manipulating financial assistance to National Institute of Education.

The Minister said that the attempt was to introduce conflict resolution to school curriculum. He said that the school curriculum could be distorted if the requirement of that Scandinavian country was fulfilled.

The Minister however, did not directly mention the name of the country. Minister Weerawansa is famous for his pro-war stance and anti-Western and anti-Norway politics.
