Sri Lanka reconciliation commission to consider issues raised by all parties on Channel 4 video

Sri Lanka's own investigative body, the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) is to consider issues raised by various parties when analyzing the controversial Channel 4 video footage that depicts alleged war crimes committed in the country during the final stages of the war.


Spokesperson for LLRC, Lakshman Wickremasinghe has said the Commissioners would consider all issues raised regarding the Channel 4 video.

He has added that the Channel 4 videos have to be analyzed carefully by the Commissioners.

The President-appointed Commission is currently in the process of preparing its final report after holding public sessions for almost a year on the events occurred during the last seven years of war.
