The busy actress tells us, “I’ve just been moving from one city to another. In the morning, if I was shooting for Singham in Mumbai, and by evening I’m in Hyderabad to celebrate the success of my film Mr Perfect.”
Kajal seems to be only too glad to be doing Singham. “Finally I get to speak in Hindi. I’ve just a song and the dubbing left. But, I must add, I’m soon going to dub in Telugu too. I’ve been working in Hyderabad for four years and I can now understand and even speak the language,” beams the chirpy actress.
Agarwal’s latest signings include plum projects that many other heroines were eying. “I have signed up for Businessman opposite Mahesh Babu. It’s a thriller,” she explains.
Her Tamil film Maatran has already been quite the talk of the town. “It’s a film with KV Anand and Suriya. It doesn’t get bigger. The best thing about Anand’s films are that his heroines play pivotal roles and aren’t just glam dolls. Also, I love this script,” says Agarwal.
Quiz her if she is looking at signing moving to Bollywood gradually and she says, “Currently, I have my hands full. I want to concentrate on the three industries that I am part of. I don’t intend to be the Jack of all trades. I’m glad with the way my career’s going.” We agree!
