Sri Lankan minister accuses international organizations of double standards

Leader of Sri Lanka's National Freedom Front (NFF) and Housing and Construction Minister Wimal Weerawansa has accused the international community of double standards.



The Minister made this comment during a public meeting in Ulapane. He has said the approach of the international organizations towards the assassination of Osama bin Laden was in total contradiction to their response to Sri Lanka's war against terrorism.

However, he has observed that the government was successful in defeating terrorism in the country.

According to Weerawansa, the UN Secretary-General, and his Panel of Experts were on witch hunt against the current administration.
