Milinda Moragoda appointed as Senior Presidential Adviser

Former Minister Milinda Moragoda has been appointed as Senior Advisor to Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Presidential Secretariat reported today.


Moragoda had served as Minister of Justice and Law Reform, Minister of Tourism, Minister for Economic Reform, Science and Technology and Deputy Minister for Plan Implementation and Development in earlier administrations.

Moragoda lost his re-election bid to the parliament at the April 2010 general elections.
