Bangladesh Army Chief meets Sri Lanka President

Bangladesh Army's Chief of Army Staff, General Mohammed Abdul Mubeen who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday on a five-day visit called on the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa Thursday (24) at the Temple Trees today.

The visiting Army Chief exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest with the president during the meeting.
His Sri Lankan counterpart Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya accompanied the visiting military official. Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga was also present.
