Sri Lanka's Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) is expected to submit its final report to President Mahinda Rajapaksa in May.
The LLRC is expected to finish its public sittings after the conclusion of sittings in the Ampara District. The sittings in Ampara that was to be held this month was postponed for February due to the recent floods.
LLRC Media Consultant Lakshman Wikramarachchi has told the media that the Commission would review and analyze the evidence received along with the papers submitted to it before preparing the final report.
