Kabir Bedi debuts in Tamil

When director Vasantha Bala narrated the story of ‘Aravan’, Kabir Bedi was thrilled and excited after hearing it. The veteran actor immediately agreed to act in it, a period film. This would be his debut in the Tamil film industry.

Produced by Amma Creations’ T Siva, Aadhi of ‘Mirugam’ and ‘Eeram’ fame plays the hero and Dhansika is the heroine. Archana Kavi also stars in the movie. Apart from the lead roles, Pasupathy is said to be donning a prominent role in the film.
Playback singer Karthik makes his debut as music director in the film. It may be noted that Kabir Bedi was well-known for his role as Emperor Shah Jahan in ‘Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story’. The actor also played a pivotal role in Columbia Pictures’ ‘The Beast of War’, a film on the Russian war in Afghanistan.
