Sri Lanka President directs health officials to keep outpatient departments open round the clock

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa has directed the Secretary of the Ministry of Health to take initiatives to keep the Outpatients' Departments of all the hospitals open round the clock.
The Government Information Center said in a statement that the President has directed the officials for this move to reduce the rush in government hospitals during the day time.
The President also directed officials to treat the patients of communicable and non communicable diseases immediately.
