Murali recalled for Sri Lanka's tour in Australia

Sri Lanka's cricket governing body, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday announced the inclusion of champion spinner Muttiah Muralitharan in the upcoming tour of Australia.

Sri Lanka is to play three one-day internationals and one T20 match against the Australians during the tour that is to begin on 22nd of October.
Muralitharan retired from Test Cricket in July after becoming the first bowler to take 800 Test wickets but indicated that he would be happy to play in ODIs and participate in the upcoming World Cup 2011.

The SLC announced is squad for the Australian tour yesterday. All-rounder Angelo Mathews' selection is subjected to fitness as he recovers from a strain in his left thigh. Thilina Kandamby has been put on standby for Mathews.

Rangana Hearth, Ajantha Mendis, Thilina Kandamby, Thilina Thushara, and F. Maharoof are in the stand by list.
