Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will lead the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu XI cricket team against Premier of South Australia XI in a friendly match here on Sunday.
FRIENDLY TIES
Addressing press persons on Friday, Member Secretary of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Sathyabrata Sahoo, said “The cricket match is for development of friendly relations between Tamil Nadu and South Australia.”
This is part of a visit by a State delegation led by South Australia Premier Mike Rann.
The cricket match would be held at the Marina Cricket Ground from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu would be organising the match. Governor Surjit Singh Barnala would present the trophies.
The members of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu XI cricket team include Ministers Durai Murugan, K. Ponmudy and Vellakoil Saminathan and film actors.
