Sri Lanka Tamil party legislator to join government

Sri Lanka's Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarian P. Piyasena says that he will join the government to serve the Tamil people.

Piyasena yesterday voted in parliament with the government in favor of the 18th Amendment.
A local electronic media today quoted Piyasena as saying in an interview that the TNA is a curse to the Tamil people and that he joined the government to serve the Tamils of Sri Lanka.
The Digamadulla parliamentarian had said that the TNA should be banned in Sri Lanka. He had also said that he would sit with the government in future.
