Coordinating Secretary of Sri Lanka's former Army Commander to be indicted

Sri Lanka Attorney General's Department has informed the Colombo Magistrate's Court today (13) that Senaka Silva, the coordinating secretary to former Army Commander and DNA Leader General (retd.) Sarath Fonseka, is to be indicted in the Colombo High Court.

Silva is currently in remand over charges of harboring army deserters and conspiring against the President and the government and he is to be indicted on those charges.
Sri Lanka's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the courts last month that Silva will be indicted s for conspiring against the State.
