Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization's (CTO's) 8th annual forum will be held from 13th to 15th of this month at the Hilton Hotel in Colombo.
Over 100 telecom representatives including senior telecom officials from member countries, top executives of telecom firms and experts in the field of telecommunication from across the world will be in Sri Lanka next week to take part in this forum.
"Broadband Connectivity for All" is the theme of the forum.
Anusha Palpita, the Director General of the Telecom Regulatory Commission said President Mahinda Rajapaksa will open the conference and "all is set to hold the event, successfully."
The conference is expected to help industry players avoid expensive mistakes of others, improve ICT business competitiveness, to leverage broadband infrastructure and also to identify and promote various business opportunities.
The CTO Forum will be followed by the CTO council meeting which will be attended by the Council delegates and expected to be held under the theme of "A Digital Commonwealth".
