Sri Lanka police to recruit 25 ASPs directly

Sri Lanka police has planned to directly recruit 25 trainee Assistant Superintendants of Police (ASP) with immediate effect. The application will be gazetted on July 23.



Graduates between the ages of 22 to 32 can apply for the posts. They should be graduates in the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine, IT, civil, mechanical, electronic and electrical engineering, architecture and several other fields.
This is the first intake of direct ASPs in these categories, police sources say. The recruitment is carried out under instruction of the Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
