Amunugama to present Sri Lanka budget as acting Finance Minister

The Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Sarath Amunugama was sworn in as the acting Finance Minister by President Mahinda Rajapaksa this morning, government sources said.


The President who is also the Finance Minister is to leave for Ukraine today on an official visit.
The government is to present the budget for the remainder of 2010 to the parliament today and Dr. Amunugama will be presenting the Budget as the acting Finance Minister
