Sri Lanka Army Commander ready to share experiences and lessons learnt in the recent war victory

Sri Lanka Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya has said the Sri Lankan military is prepared to share the experiences and lessons learnt in the recent victory against terrorism in the island with other countries.


Lieutenant General Jayasuriya had made this statement during the ceremony to lay the foundation for a wellness centre in Anuradhapura for the .

He had observed that the lessons learnt during the war have already been included in the training manuals for new recruits and that these will be streamlined to offer training for military personnel from overseas as well.

Sri Lankan security forces defeated the Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) last May after a three decade long war.
