Sri Lankan President visits Prime Minister at U.S. hospital

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa following his three-day official visit to Kazakhstan has arrived in the United States on a private visit.President Rajapaksa called on Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne who is receiving treatment at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and wished him a speedy recovery.

President Rajapaksa's visit to Kazakhstan brought many benefits to the country, the government media said.
