Sri Lanka main opposition to commence a series of agitation campaigns next week

Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) is to commence a series of agitation campaigns against lawlessness in the country. UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake told  that
the agitation campaigns would commence from Wednesday (8). He said that the first campaign would be an agitation carried out by the UNP legislators. When asked if the UNP lawmakers would be carrying out their demonstration inside the parliament premises since parliament sessions would be in progress that day, Attanayake said that the final decision on the venue and time are to be decided today. "We will be having a meeting today to discuss the details about the campaign," he said, adding that the campaign would be carried out island wide.
