Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa returned home today to a rousing welcome at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport.
The Sri Lankan flight UL 510 arrived at the Airport at 2:50 p.m.
A large number of Ministers, MPs, officials, and other supporters were at the airport to welcome the President and religious leaders of all faiths blessed the President on arrival. The President left for London on Monday on an invitation by the Oxford Union and the Sri Lanka Society of Oxford University to address the Union but the lecture was cancelled due to security concerns.
