Sri Lanka nurses trade union, Government Nursing Officers' Association (GNOA) has warned that they would launch trade union action in several government hospitals tomorrow.
GNOA Secretary Saman Ratnapriya has said the trade union action would be launched at the Colombo National Hospital as well.
He has observed that the Association has decided to launch the trade union action due to the failure of the health authorities to address several demands forwarded by them.
Ratnapriya has added that the authorities have failed to address the grievances of the health sector employees.
