Sri Lanka to host meeting of South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme

Sri Lanka will host the 12th Meeting of the Governing Council of South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) on 03rd November 2010 in Colombo.

Environment Ministers of the governments of South Asian countries have been invited for this meeting.
SACEP is a multilateral organization registered with the UN Secretariat consisting of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

The objectives of SACEP are to promote and support protection, management, and enhancement of the environment in the region.
