.Kandy Additional Magistrate Thanuja Jayathunga had granted bail to Ramanayake, who was arrested last Thursday for allegedly committing a financial fraud to the tune of Rs. 1 million.
A female teacher from a Kandy school had lodged a complaint saying Ramanayake had taken money from her promising marriage.
Ramanayake was ordered bail on Rs 25,000 cash, and two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each.
The Court has fixed the case for December.
