British Prime Minister David Cameron reiterated in parliament that whatever said and done an independent inquiry should be conducted into the alleged war crimes in Sri Lanka. In response to a question raised by Siobhain McDonagh MP, the Prime Ministers Questions Cameron made this comment.
The Prime Minister said this when Ms McDonagh made the query in light of the PR agency Bell Pottinger which is alleged to have been employed by the Sri Lankan Government spending a large sum of money to conduct an image building campaign in UK.
Prime Minister David Cameron also said in spite of the various programmes conducted via PR agency Bell Pottinger, it was his view that an independent inquiry should be held concerning the war crimes.
Meanwhile it is reported that the British Prime Minister also was a former member of PR agency Bell Pottinger which is presently engaged in image building.
