Sri Lanka's ex-Army Commander indicted on one more count

Attorney General of Sri Lanka indicted former Army Commander and Democratic National Alliance parliamentarian retired General Sarath Fonseka in Colombo High Court today.

Fonseka was charged of organizing soldiers who had deserted the Army, providing protection to them and acting to abolish their loyalty to state.
Retired captain Senaka Haripriya Silva is also indicted on same counts together with Fonseka.
Court denied a request of bail for Silva due to objection of the prosecutors.

Colombo High Court Judge Deepali Wijesundara fixed the trial on December 13.
