Sri Lanka's CID questions opposition MP Mangala Samaraweera

Sri Lanka's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today grilled the main opposition United National Party parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera for over three and a half hours over a poster printed for the opposition protest against the 18th Amendment to the Constitution
.Samaraweera after making his statement to the CID told the media that questioning him for so long over a poster indicates the decline in democracy in Sri Lanka.
He said he did not blame the CID in any way, as they had treated him well.
The CID according to Samaraweera had asked him for nearly three and a half hours as to who gave the order for posters to be printed, who printed them and why, etc.
