Sri Lanka's minor opposition party Democratic People's Front (DPF) led by Mano Ganeshan decided today to appoint a new member as the National Organizer in place of the party's defected parliamentarian Prabha Ganeshan.
The DPF leaders have decided to appoint Western Provincial Councilor and Colombo District Organizer S. Rajendran as the National Organizer of the party in place of Prabha Ganeshan after he crossed over to the government last week.
DPF General Secretary Dr. Nalliah Kumaragurubaran told the local media that the decision was arrived at a political committee meeting of the party held this morning at the party office.
Meanwhile, DPF Leader Mano Ganeshan has issued a 14 day ultimatum to Prabha to rejoin the opposition in Parliament.
