Malaysian models in Tamil film

Tamil film directors continue to be eager to experiment.
A case in point would be the Akhil-Sanusha-starrer Nandi, which is being directed by Tamilvaanan, who is also known for his films Kalvannin Kadhali and Matchakaaran.
We recently reported that the team had roped in two Malaysian actors. Here’s more on it.“Recently, the unit of Nandi shot a song for the film. The director and the producer, who felt that this particular folk song had the potential to garner attention if shot with a set of fresh faces, chose to feature artistes from Malaysia in the song. So, both the director and the producer flew to Malaysia, held auditions over there and selected two girls — Norah, a Malaysian model, and Tanushya, a Malaysian actress — to feature in the song,” says a source close to the film’s unit.
“The song has already become popular among the residents of the area where the song was picturised,” adds the source.
