Sri Lanka's NFF Leader raps India

Sri Lanka's National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader and government Minister Wimal Weerawansa said in reference to the Indian External Affairs Minister's comment on the implementation of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, that India should not dictate terms to Sri Lanka.
Weerawansa told the media yesterday (13) the Constitution would be changed in three stages with the first being, changes made to the Executive Presidency.



The other stages are to include changes to the electoral system and the formation of a Senate.

According to Weerawansa, his party was keen to see changes made to the Constitution and the implementation of laws and regulations to ban separatism, which he said had raised its head again in Sri Lanka.
