Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid a surprise visit to the Galle Face Green in the heart of Colombo this evening and inspected the progress on its development project.
Later, the President mingled with the people and children relaxing on the Green. Minister Gitanjana Gunawardena, MP-elect Duminda Silva, and Chairman of Port Authority Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickreme were also present.
