Kurunegala: Sri Lanka police found a suicide jacket and several weapons from a house at Hansamunawa in Kurunegala early this morning.
Kurunegala police said they found several T-56 guns along with the suicide jacket in a search operation conducted on civilian information.
Police believe that the suicide jacket and the weapons have been brought to this house during the final stages of the war with the LTTE.
No arrests have yet been made, but the investigations are continuing, the police said.
