Ferry service to be launched between India and Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka and India will sign a memorandum of Agreement (Mou) to resume the ferry service between Sri Lanka's Thalaimannar of the northwestern coast and Rameswaram in South India.

Sri Lanka to salvage drowned ships in the sea around the island

Sri Lanka Ministry of Ports and Aviation is planning to salvage a number of ships that had been drowned in the sea surrounding the island.
