Sri Lanka President's son and MP Namal Rajapaksa urged the government to provide all the local government councils of the island with official websites and digital libraries.
He requested the funds of the community and livelihood development project of the Ministry of Economic Development be used for this venture.
MP Rajapaksa expressed these views addressing the official ceremony of the Katueana Pradeshiya Sabha of Hambantota district to launch the website and to declare open the digital library.
