Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa today met with young entrepreneurs of the country to seek their views and suggestions in preparing the budget for next year.
Representatives from the Young Entrepreneurs Association attended a discussion held at Temple Trees today under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and presented their views and suggestions for the forthcoming budget.
The business entrepreneurs have said that with the increase of infrastructure facilities in the country business opportunities for them have also increased.
The President has told the Association representatives them that the 2013 budget is aimed at rapid economic development and the government takes policy decisions with the objective of protecting the local products and the local entrepreneurs.
Deputy Finance and Planning Minister Geethanjana Gunawardena, Treasury Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundera, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga and the Association President Rohana de Silva participated in the discussion.
