Sri Lankan minister discharged from hospital after heart attack scare

Sri Lanka's Minister of Construction, Engineering, Housing and Common Amenities Wimal Weerawansa who was admitted to the Cardiac Unit of the Kurunegala General Hospital has been discharged, local media reported. Earlier today,
the 42-year-old Minister was admitted to the hospital on the suspicion of a heart attack after he experienced a sudden illness while on his way to Trincomalee for campaigning in Eastern Province. Following tests, the doctors at the Cardiac unit of the hospital have reported the Minister's illness was due to stress and he did not experience any heart problems.
