Sri Lanka's Tamil party and Free Media Movement in a conspiracy against the government - report

Sri Lanka's state-owned Sinhala daily The Dinamina reported today that intelligence units have revealed information on a joint conspiracy by the country's major Tamil party, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) with the media right organization, Free Media Movement (FMM) to discredit Sri Lanka. According to the newspaper, intelligence units have learned that a group of TNA MPs and six FMM representatives have already left for Geneva to participate in the 19th sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council to present false facts against Sri Lanka. The newspaper said that
the FMM is assisted by a number of Non-Governmental Organizations for this task. They are working in unison against the government and the people of the country, it further said. The UN Human Rights Council sessions are to start on February 27 in Geneva.
