Sri Lanka's former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka who is now in prison has sent a message to the organizers of a public seminar that is to be held seeking his release.
Accordingly, 'The National Campaign for Release of Gen. Fonseka' has cancelled the public seminar that was scheduled to be held in Colombo Public library at 3.00 p.m. tomorrow.
The theme of the seminar was 'Why Sarath Fonseka should be released?' The organization apologized to all invitees including public, political party members and journalists for the inconvenience caused but did not reveal the causes for the decision.
