Heroin smuggler from Pakistan nabbed at Sri Lanka airport

Sri Lanka police arrested a man who arrived in the country from Pakistan with over 800 grams of heroin. The Police Narcotics Bureau at Katunayake Airport arrested the man who has swallowed the drugs and handed him over to the Negombo Hospital.
The hospital authorities have recovered 118 packets containing a total of 801 grams of heroin from the man's stomach. The Police Narcotics Bureau says the heroine stock is worth over Rs. 10 million. The Police said this is the first time such a big stock of heroine was recovered from a person in this manner.
